How California Real Estate Agents Can Use AI to Post Consistently

The easiest way to start using AI for real estate content is to take one local update you’ve verified and turn it into a social post, a short video hook and an email. Keep the drafts in one ChatGPT thread so you can reuse your audience, writing examples and instructions each week.
Give ChatGPT the context you’d give a new assistant
Tell it where you work, who you’re talking to and what questions clients actually ask. Paste two or three posts you wrote yourself so it has examples of how you sound. If you work with first-time buyers in Oakland, say that. You’ll get a more relevant draft than you would from asking for “a real estate post.”
Start with something you can verify
Say you pull a market report and notice that homes in a particular price range are taking longer to go pending. Give ChatGPT the report date, the neighborhood and the exact numbers. Then try this prompt.
“Use the market update below to write a short social post, a 20-second video hook and an email for buyers in my market. Explain what the numbers might mean for someone making an offer. Use only the facts I provide, and flag anything that needs verification.”
Add what you’re seeing firsthand
Maybe buyers are asking for repairs again, or well-priced listings are still moving fast. Add one observation from your own work and distinguish it from what the market report says. Before you publish, check the numbers, read the draft out loud and review property marketing for fair housing language and required California license and brokerage disclosures.
Try it with one update this week. You’ll have three drafts built around something your clients can actually use.
